Make the most of the Easter break

Take of advantage of the balmy spring weather this Easter and get the children out of doors to enjoy a range of activities.

Now is the perfect time to take up a new sport or activity, or just make the most of the weather with some outdoor fun. While it may be yet too cold for a dip in the sea, a trip to the beach offers hours of fun building sand castles and exploring rock pools, while your local woods will be bursting with new life at this time of year. Take the plunge with a trip to your local swimming pool, or get the kids involved in one of the many excellent equestrian centres around Mayo. There is plenty to do so make the most of the holidays.

Older children can take advantage of the break to catch up on some revision, particularly if they are sitting exams this June. The Easter break offers a perfect opportunity to catch up on subjects they might be struggling with. A revision course will help to identify and tackle any weak subjects or areas, and will also help to bolster good study habits for the vital months ahead.
