The 11th annual Focus Ireland Four Peaks challenge will take place from June 11 to 13 and teams from Mayo are being asked to enter.

Participants have to climb the highest mountains in Ireland — Carrauntoohil in Kerry, followed by Mweelrea in Mayo, Slieve Donard in Down, and finally Lugnaquillia in Wicklow.

Four Peaks teams are made up of a minimum of three and a maximum of five climbers plus at least two drivers to split the driving and get them from mountain to mountain.
