The spring federation meeting of Mayo ICA was held in the Welcome Inn Hotel Castlebar, hosted by the Castlebar ICA Guild.
The national ICA president Anne Maria Dennison and federation president Mary O’Reilly addressed the meeting, which is the association’s centenary year.
The Cathaoirleach of Mayo County Council, Councillor John Cribbin, and Councillor Michael Kilcoyne, Mayor of Castlebar, also acknowledged the wonderful contribution that both the United Irishwomen and the ICA has made to Irish life and living over the last 100 years.
