Mayo Fine Gael TD John O’Mahony has thanked all the people who contacted his office by phone and text enquiring and wishing him well following a car accident he had on Saturday last.
The accident took place at 7pm on Saturday evening just outside Swinford while the Deputy was on constituency work.
Deputy O’Mahony, speaking from his constituency office in Claremorris, said that while he was shaken he was feeling fine and would like to thank all who helped at the scene including the O’Hara and Higgins families and the local gardaí.
