Mayo schools the length and breadth of the county will attend An Taisce’s award ceremony in Galway on March 3.
The award is given to schools following the successful implementation of their Green Schools Environmental Programmes. The following Mayo schools will be awarded a Green Flag: Holy Angels NS, Clogher; Killocraun NS; Scoil Raifteiri; St Joseph’s NS, Leitir; Knock NS; Crimlin NS; Glenmore NS; Carra NS; Manulla NS; St Joseph’s NS, Midfield; St Joseph’s Primary School, Ballinrobe; Kinaffe NS; Holy Family NS, Newport; Cooneal NS; Scoil Muire agus Treasa, Swinford; Inver NS; Carrowkennedy NS; Louisburgh NS; St Peter’s NS, Snugboro; Gaelscoil Na Cruaiche; and Tavrane NS.
