Community Radio Castlebar made history this week when it became the first community radio station to broadcast live from the Communications Unit of the Houses of the Oireachtas on Kildare Street in Dublin.
The team behind the flagship current affairs programme Saturday Forum accepted an invitation to interview the Mayo senators and TDs in their own work environment.
The two members of the Senate, Paddy Burke and John Carty, and the five members of the Dáil, Beverley Flynn, Michael Ring, John O’Mahony, Dara Calleary, and Enda Kenny all participated in the programme.
A repeat of the show can be heard on CRC102.9 fm tomorrow, Saturday, February 27, beginning at the regular Saturday Forum starting time of 11.30am.
