Fáilte Ireland is inviting members of the B&B sector to attend one of a series of workshops being held nationwide to introduce a repositioning strategy for the industry. The soon to be announced strategy has been endorsed by industry representative bodies and individual operators.
The workshops are designed to familiarise operators with the new bed and breakfast strategy, which includes the introduction of a new B&B brand, underpinned by a new classification and categorisation system, as well as information on dedicated sector training and business supports.
The workshops will explain the benefits of the scheme, introduce the updated approval requirements, clarify the new process, and provide networking opportunities for the sector.
All existing operators approved to Fáilte Ireland standards and those wishing to become approved are welcome to attend.
The Mayo workshop will take place on Tuesday February 16 from 10am to 1pm in the Westport Plaza Hotel.
