Castlebar Chamber of Commerce has organised a speed networking event which will enable its members and non-members to speed date their way to a better business.
The event takes place on Thursday, February 25, in the TF Royal Hotel.
It is open to start-ups and established businesses which are looking for novel ways in which to grow their companies.
Business speed dating allows you to develop new business relationships, secure new clients, meet potential strategic business partners, and tap into new audiences.
And to ensure you maximise each meeting on the night the Chamber has organised Sandra Hart of Business Network Ireland to firstly go through how to network effectively.
Following this attendees will be given a chance to develop their pitch before the speed networking commences.
People in business or connected with business are invited to attend.
Attendees are advised to bring business cards, promotional material, a pen, and paper. They will participate in a series of two-minute, one-to-one meetings, and when the bell rings it is time to move on to the next meeting.
Registration takes place at 7.45pm and the speed networking is expected to finish at 9.30pm with refreshments afterwards.
The event is free for Chamber members and costs €5 for non-members.
