The winners of the Pirate Queen art competition, in conjunction with the forthcoming production by Ballinrobe Musical Society, have been announced:
Ryan Carney, fourth class, Roxboro NS; Leagh Byrne, third class, Partry NS; Roisin Collins, fifth class, Ballinrobe NS; Niall Walsh, transition year, Ballinrobe Community School; Lydia Cummins, first year, Ballinrobe Community School; Eoghan Hughes, fourth class, Burriscarra NS Carnacon; Niall Kinneavy, second class, Clonbur NS; Kealan Fleming, sixth class, The Neale NS; Aoife Crowe, second year, Ballinrobe Community School; Alise Puisane, fifth class, Ballinrobe NS; Sara Warde, sixth class, The Neale NS.
The event was promoted by Ballinrobe Community Development Committee, ably assisted by Ballinrobe Community School, Ballinrobe Musical Society, and teachers in the local primary schools.
