Following a thriving year of learning and growth at The National School for Remedial Therapy, renowned triathlon coach and massage therapist David Corcoran is returning to Castlebar this February to launch the 2010 diploma programme in sports and remedial massage therapy.

David and his wife Tina run a very successful Dublin based clinic where they specialise in injury prognosis, rehabilitation, and prevention. David and Tina pride themselves on the fact that they take a personal interest in the recovery of all their clients. David, one of Ireland’s top massage therapists, passionately believes in the power of sports therapy.
Currently David’s clients come from both sporting and non sporting backgrounds. He has looked after world renowned athletes such as Catherina McKiernan, Jamie Costin, Derval O’Rourke, and Joanne Cuddihy. David also worked with visiting international rugby teams such as New Zealand and South Africa.
The NSRT diploma offers graduates a dynamic career choice either as a full time massage therapist or as a rewarding second form of income. The fee for the year long course is €3,250, with The National School for Remedial Therapy offering an interest free loan to all who register within the next two weeks. The Castlebar course will commence on Saturday February 20 and run until February 2011.
The Sports Therapy Organisation accredited diploma comprises 15 learning weekends spread across a year focusing on hands-on techniques such as positional release and muscle energy techniques.
