The Small Firms Association, the group that represents small businesses in Ireland, has announced that the SFA Better Business Show will visit Mayo on Wednesday, February 17 at Breaffy House in Castlebar from 6.30pm to 8pm.
The Better Business Show will provide, free of charge, world-class information, advice and assistance to Ireland’s 250,000 small businesses across a range of business issues to ensure a business is fit for purpose. A panel of experts will advise on assessing the economic outlook, accessing and managing finance, using technology to drive productivity and enhance marketing/customer relationships, saving money through energy efficiency and streamlined waste management.
Commenting on the show, Patricia Callan, Director of the SFA said: “The need to be competitive is all-embracing. Each small business is a combination of technical, commercial, and financial activities, all of which play a part in production costs. Small firms must be competitive in all aspect of their business activities to ensure survival and growth.
“Our promise is that anyone who attends the show will walk away with new ideas, tips and information to successfully reduce costs. They will also have an opportunity to network with other business people and to engage with business experts in a location near them.”
The show is free of charge and spaces can be reserved at www.betterbusiness.ie or 1890 546 546. Over 10,000 small businesses attended the previous Better Business Shows, and the 2010 event will build on this success.
In presenting the Better Business Show, the SFA is partnered with Aviva, eircom, ESB Customer Supply, Greenstar and Ulster Bank.
