A 32-year-old father of one was convicted and fined at Castlebar District Court this week for possession of €70 worth of cannabis resin and cannabis herb.
A search warrant was carried out on the residence of Cormac Cresham, 18 The Willows, Castlebar, on March 15 2009, where cannabis resin was found in a container on the window sill. Cannabis herb was also found on a window sill in the bedroom.
Cresham admitted that the drugs were for his own use. The unemployed man was convicted and fined €300 by Judge Mary Devins.
