According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 25 people being treated on trolleys at Mayo General Hospital today out of 475 nationwide.
In comparison there are 22 patients on trolleys at Sligo General Hospital, 15 at Roscommon County Hospital, six at Portiuncula Hospital and 24 at University Hospital Galway.
