Due to the death of the wife of former Mayo County Councillor Martin J O’Toole the monthly council meeting was adjourned at 5pm as a mark of respect.
A vote of sympathy was also proposed to the Gill and Geraghty families in Westport following the tragic deaths of the Noel Gill and Petie Geraghty.
