Looking for a Christmas gift with a difference, or that unique hand-crafted item for someone special? Then why not drop along to the annual Christmas Fair at the HSE Rural Training Centre located on the Humbert Way, Castlebar?
This year, the Christmas Fair will be held on Sunday December 13 starting at 12.30pm, and all items are on a first come first served basis. The craft items on offer are all designed and hand made by the service users of the centre, who are supported by a team of dedicated staff.
The selection of items on sale this year includes fabric crafts, floral wreaths, lavender bags, quilts, handmade wooden bird tables, home baking, chutneys, Christmas wreaths, and cribs and floral table décor.
Tea and coffee refreshments will be served on the day, and a draw will be held for a voucher worth €50 valid for the 2010 season for any of the garden centre produce at the centre. The HSE Rural Training Centre in Castlebar can be contacted on 094 904 2127.
