Reflections on Faith and Prayer is a series of short reflections that will be provided in the Castlebar Parish Church each evening between 5.10pm and 5.30pm starting on Monday November 9 and continuing daily until Friday November 13.
All are welcome. The series will also be transmitted on the Castlebar Parish Church Radio (105 FM ) and is particularly suitable for those who are sick or housebound.
The Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, will host an evening of reflection on women in the scriptures on Monday November 16 at 8pm. The presenter will be Sr Maura Walsh who is a spiritual director.
On Friday November 20 at 8pm an ecumenical liturgy service to enable the community to support those bereaved by the death of a loved one, through suicide, will be held in the Church of the Holy Rosary. Further details are available from the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, at 094 902 5900.
