A novel 1,000 items sale will take place in Castlebar on Friday, November 6, and all proceeds will go forwards the Niall Mellon Township Trust.
The event will feature 1,000 new and ‘good as new’ items including clothes, handbags, jewellery, and shoes, all of which have been collected from local shops and friends of Partry man Martin Munroe, who will be travelling to build houses in South Africa with the Mellon Trust.
Prices will range from €3 to €40, and there will also be baby clothes, gift items, candles, and other items. A new O’Neill football is among the merchandise lined up to sell, along with debs’ dresses and four new ivory wedding dresses.
The sale will take place in the Welcome Inn Hotel at 8pm. Admission will be €5, and this will also act as a ticket for a raffle with some top prizes.
