Grade A for O’Hara’s of Foxford in prestigious quality awards

One of the west’s most popular bakers and confectioners, O’Hara’s of Foxford, has proven once again that quality is at the heart of its business by securing a prestigious international award for food safety.

The company, which is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary in the near future, continues to go from strength-to-strength with the award of a BRC Grade A Global Standard for Food Safety.

The highly coveted certification has been given to O’Hara’s extensive range of confectionery products and means that the customer can be sure of outstanding food safety standards – as well as the excellent flavour which has come to be expected from all of O’Hara’s cakes.

The award, issued by the British Retail Consortium (BRC ), adds to a long list of quality achievements for O’Hara’s which operates to the most demanding national and international standards.

The new certification will now see O’Hara’s included on a prestigious list of BRC certified companies, and will rank its cake products alongside those of other top national and international confectioners.

Commenting on the BRC award, Sean Trayers, sales director said: “O’Hara’s has been dedicated to quality since it began operations in 1951. We have developed our quality approach from simple taste testing in the early days, to the full scale World Class Manufacturing (WCM ) systems which operate today right across our company. This award is another great achievement for our team, and it is a further guarantee of quality for our valued customers.”
