Fine Gael Leader, Enda Kenny, TD, has welcomed the success of the recent public meeting on the Lisbon Treaty held in the TF Royal Hotel in Castlebar. The meeting was hosted by Jim Higgins MEP with Dep George Lee as the guest speaker. The attendance at the meeting was very encouraging as the room was full to capacity and showing the interest in the event.
“The meeting was almost three hours long and proved to be very informative to those who attended,” Deputy Kenny said. “The questions and answers session proved very successful in what was George Lee’s first visit to Castlebar since being elected to the Dáil and he proved to be hugely popular at the meeting.”
