Following representations made to Bus Éireann by Fine Gael councillor Joe Mellett on the importance of having a regular bus service to and from Ireland West Airport Knock Bus Éireann has confirmed that a revised timetable is now being submitted to the Department of Transport to get a licence in order to increase the frequency of the services between Swinford/Castlebar and Westport, to include the airport.
Cllr Mellett welcomes the news and hopes that the Department of Transport will rubber stamp the application without delay.
