The annual awards of Good Food Ireland will take place in The K-Club next Tuesday and Mayo will have five fine culinary representatives, who use local produce, at the ceremony.
Kelly's of Newport; Ashford Castle; Café Rua and Rua, Castlebar; The Food Store, Claremorris; and Mount Falcon Country House Hotel, Ballina will compete in different award categories.

“Good Food Ireland is the only all island organisation that brings together a club of like-minded, committed people across all sectors of the hospitality and food industry,” said Margaret Jeffares, managing director of Good Food Ireland. “The awards highlight places committed to local Irish food so that consumers can find out and make informed choices on where to go to eat out or stay.”
