On Friday September 25 a culture night will take place in the National Museum of Ireland – Country Life, Turlough Park, Castlebar from 6pm to 9pm. Admission is free.
The museum galleries will have extended opening hours from 6pm to 9pm. From 6pm to 7.30pm a harvest knot workshop will take place. A rush basket demonstration will take place from 7pm to 9pm. A guided tour of the museum will also take place from 7.45pm to 8.30pm.
