Ballet at its best

Eleanoir Cazabon-Regan, who holds a BA Hons (Dance Education ) and is a registered teacher with distinction and also mentor for the Royal Academy of Dance, has been the principle of All Stars Performing Arts Academy since 1999. This academy has been offering classes in Ballinrobe for the past 10 years. During these years the pupils of the academy have attained great success in RAD examinations and the annual shows.

The safe and correct dance training of children is, of course, a high priority which is why Eleanoir uses extensive syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance. The RAD examinations are accredited by CEA, which places the academy's qualifications in the National Qualification Framework. Classes from ballet for tiny tots to vocational level are offered and your child can benefit enormously from learning ballet. It can help in many ways including improving and correcting poor posture at any age, encouraging creativity and self-expression, developing co-ordination of mind and body, providing opportunities for performance, encouraging an appreciation of music, building physical confidence and strength and promoting self discipline.

Some of All Stars’ students have attained college places to advance their dance education both here and abroad and in addition the academy has had many students appearing in numerous RTÉ programmes.

Eleanoir's ballet classes are also a great way to meet and make new friends.

Classes commence on Saturday September 12 in the Crann Mor Centre, Ballinrobe, on Wednesday and Thursdays in Ballyheane Studio and on Friday, September 11 in Shrule/Kilmaine Studio. Children aged from three up are taken.

The academy has two fully equipped dance studios with sprung floors, mirrors, ballet bars and piano – suitable for classes and examinations.
