Two leading doctors will address the sixth national convention of the Psoriasis Association of Ireland in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, on Saturday, September 19 and the Psoriasis Association of Ireland is urging the estimated 2,400 sufferers from the county to attend the one-day event.
Dr Trevor Markham, consultant dermatologist, and Dr Robert Coughlan, consultant rheumatologist, both of University College Hospital, Galway are among the speakers which also include Caroline Irwin, chairperson of the Psoriasis Association of Ireland.
The convention begins at 9.30am. Admittance is €10 for adults, €5 for OAPs and children are free. The afternoon session will comprise a series of workshops to be addressed by a dermatology nurse and a camouflage make-up artist.
