Charlestown Library are asking children to submit a spooky story (250 words ) and be in for a chance of winning €1,000 worth of books for their school or library.
Runner up prizes include signed copies of Harper Collins books and the closing date for the competition is November 5 at 5pm.
Entrants should mark their submissions CBF Short Story Competition, PO Box 11426, An Post, Rutland Place, Dublin 1. The story must have a title or entrants will be disqualified. For more information contact Charlestown Library on 094 935 5934.
