Shaws Department Stores will mark its first year of trading in Ballina at its store on Tone Street with an array of celebrations. From Monday 24 to Saturday August 29, enjoy the festivities including a family fun day out with face painting, balloons, giveaways, and plenty of surprises.

Reflecting on their year in Ballina, Michael McNulty, general manager of Shaws Department Stores, said: “This has been a very enjoyable and memorable year for us, we have had a fantastic reaction from our customers and we greatly appreciate their custom over the last year. An exciting arrival will be Choice Boutique in mid September which will be exclusive to Shaws Ballina and feature an array of high fashion brands. As part of the retail experience, the store hosts home and lifestyle collections among its departments as well as cosmetics, footwear, and lingerie. The store trades off 25,000 square feet over two floors of bright, modern, retail space.
