The Kavannagh Group in Westport has recently been nominated for the prestigious Q Mark Group Retail Excellence Award in the Hygiene category. The highly coveted Q Mark is only awarded to companies which are committed to achieving the highest standards of quality and excellence, adhere to best practice, and have a commitment to continuous improvement.
Family owned bakery, O’Haras of Foxford, Aramark/Campbell Catering at Mayo General Hospital, and Bridgestock Ltd in Ballyhaunis are also nominated for Q Mark awards for their commitment to excellence in the hygiene category across bakery, hospitals and health, and health and social services respectively.
Adding to this year’s excitement, the EIQA has commissioned a new design for the Q Mark award from renowned Irish artist Shane Holland, which will be unveiled at the highly anticipated event at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin on Friday October 30.
