Royal Castlebar apologises to unsatisfied patrons

While for the most part the staff of the Royal Castlebar Theatre and Event Centre are celebrating a hugely successful Riverdance run with over 20,000 watching the internationally acclaimed show, there have been some disgruntled patrons whose views were impeded.

The theatre have been swift to issue an apology to those people and are assuring their customers that they are taking every step necessary to ensure any problems are rectified.

The theatre have issued the following statement: “All of us at the Royal Castlebar would like to sincerely thank all patrons who attended Riverdance and Shayne Ward as our brand new venue took its first few steps over the past number of days.

“While the vast majority of those who attended were able to enjoy perfectly the experience of attending these events, we are aware and acknowledge that some clients were somewhat visually impeded and obstructed. We fully concede that the sight-lines offered by some seats were not always satisfactory. To these customers, we apologise sincerely and regret that time constraints did not allow us to avoid such issues. We are always ready and willing to listen and learn from our customers and can be contacted at [email protected].

“At the Royal Castlebar, we constantly set extremely high standards and no one is more disappointed and frustrated than ourselves when these standards are not met. We would like to assure patrons that these issues are being dealt with swiftly and effectively and we look forward to ensuring that all visitors to our venue will enjoy a wonderful experience in a world-class venue.”
