The Royal Theatre welcomes back Big Tom and the Mainliners to the Royal Theatre for a dance on Friday August 21. The man who is known as Ireland’s King of Country Music will take to the stage for a one night only dance at 9pm. The last time Big Tom was here the numbers who came out to see him were incredible, and there is no doubt that it will be the same again. Pat Jennings of the Royal Theatre says: “We know that demand for accommodation around Castlebar and neighbouring areas is going to be huge, even more so than last time, as Big Tom fans travel from all parts of Ireland and overseas. It is testament to his enduring appeal as a man of the people that he is still the king after all those years.”
Tickets for this one off dance will be available on the door and not available to pre book. Doors will open at 9pm sharp. On the following night Eamon McCann is in the Royal Theatre for a dance also.
