The Fine Gael spokesperson on Community, Rural, and Gaeltacht affairs, Deputy Michael Ring, has welcomed the opening of the visitor centre at Ballycroy National Park.
Deputy Ring stated: “This is one of the best kept secrets in the world. The Ballycroy-north Mayo area has so much to offer in natural beauty and this visitor centre will certainly open up the area to more tourists.”
The project, which has been in the pipeline since 1995, is something which the deputy worked very hard for over the years to get up and running.
