The Bonniconlon Agricultural Show celebrates its 60th anniversary this year with next Monday’s event promising to be the biggest and best ever in the show’s history, with some 100 acres playing host to one of the west of Ireland’s largest and best loved summer events.
Chairperson John O’Hara said: “With a prize fund of over €60,000 this year’s show, which, as usual, takes place on August Bank Holiday Monday, is sure to attract a huge crowd to the village, and with free car-parking and transport in the form of shuttle buses from parks to the show-field there will be no problem with traffic congestion.” www.bonniconlonshow.ie
