Historical walking tours of Castlebar and Newport have commenced and will continue throughout the months of July and August.
The tours are thoroughly researched and presented by Brian Hoban, local historian and Failte Ireland approved guide.
The historical stroll of the town of Castlebar starts from The 1798 Memorial, the Mall, each Saturday at 10am while the Newport tour starts from Hotel Newport each Friday at 7pm. Group tours can be arranged at other times by appointment.
