An outline proposal for the new Ballinrobe Community Civic Centre will go on display in local venues this week.
Interested locals are asked to view the proposals and, if interested, to attend an informal public information meeting on Thursday July 16 from 5pm to 8pm.
The new centre is expected to incorporate a civic centre, community facility, theatre, and multi-purpose areas.
“We are putting an outline proposal on display so that the people of Ballinrobe can see what is being discussed,” said a spokesperson for the Community Civic Centre committee.
“We are also holding an informal public information meeting in the St Colman’s building behind the CBS Parish Centre.”
The proposal goes on display in the following venues this week: Ballinrobe Public Library, Ballinrobe County Council Office, Ballinrobe Credit Union, and Ballinrobe Post Office.
