Management and staff at the four star McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris, were celebrating this week when word reached them that they were successful in their application to the AA for four star accreditation.
The Automobile Association is an internationally recognised body for quality standards in hotel food and service.
The McWilliam Park Hotel was the vision of five men from the local area: Damien Prendergast, John Finn, Seamus Gallagher, Terry Brennan, and John Killeen.
Now in its third year of business it has proved to be one of the leading employers in the area and has created a meeting place for the locality, a meeting place for the business and corporate community, and a relaxing haven for the leisure traveller.
The McWilliam Park Hotel’s success is defined by the support of local and national guests both corporate and leisure, and the high level of repeat customers showcase the quality in service and standards.
Furthermore only 10 months after the hotel doors opened it received from TAMS four star classification, which was without a doubt an achievement to be proud of.
General manager Fergal Ryan said: “I am absolutely delighted to have the hotel and its team recognised internationally as an establishment at the high end of the four star market for its quality and dedication to customer service.
“We are delighted to have received top marks on this our first inspection. Our results prove that quality and service can be provided and appreciated even in this difficult economic climate. We value the contribution of our workforce and are committed to the development of a motivated team.”
The McWilliam Park continues to be a very popular venue for weddings, entertainment, and as a destination for family holidays with its top class leisure facilities and Bizzie Bees kids’ club. For details of special offers contact the hotel on 094 937 8000 or log onto www.mcwilliampark.ie
