A Ballina man who was in an intoxicated state in a public area and told a garda to mind his own business was before Ballina District Court on Tuesday.
Garda John Barrett received a complaint at 3.30am on Saturday March 7 that Joseph Muldoon, 26 St Patrick’s Estate, Ballina, was in an intoxicated state on Trawley Terrace, Ballina. Garda Barrett directed that Muldoon leave the area, however he was told to “mind my own business”.
The unemployed man who had previous public order convictions was convicted and fined €300 by Judge Mary Devins.
