Taoiseach goes walkabout on visit to South Mayo with MEP Walsh

An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar visited South Mayo last week and during a walkabout in Ballinrobe, Shrule and Glencorrib, he met with a number of businesses and community groups, as they welcomed the head of government and outlined plans and hopes for further investment in the region.

Talented Mayo musicians, dancers, storytellers and Irish language speakers were to the fore at the recent Comhaltas All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil held in Mullingar, which included over 5000 competitors from around Ireland and overseas, with a long list of winners from the county among the many category winners, as follows:
