On Friday September 18 Ardal O'Hanlon, the award winning comedian and actor - and star of Father Ted and My Hero, will return to the stand-up stage in Castlebar.
A highly acclaimed stand up, Ardal has toured to sell out audiences internationally (including extensive live work across the US, Canada, Australia, Far East and Europe ) and released two Top 10 stand up DVDs (Ardal O'Hanlon Live and Ardal O'Hanlon Live in Dublin ). Ardal continues to be one of the most sought after comedians working.
Recently Ardal has completed production in a lead role for the feature film, Wide Open Spaces, due for release in July, and is currently writing a play for a leading international theatre - as well as developing work for television. O’Hanlon’s debut book, The Talk of the Town, proved to be a best seller - but has recently been voted one of the 1001 books of all time, to read before you die.
