New Opel Grandland goes on sale here

The new Opel Grandland SUV flagship is now available at Opel dealerships nationwide, just in time for the 222-registration plate this July.

Opel points out that it is displaying the new signature Opel ‘Vizor’ brand face, it is host to a new ‘Pure Panel’ cockpit and also it claims class-leading technology and comfort features.

The new Grandland is available in petrol and diesel from launch, with a plug-in electric hybrid version arriving later in 2022. It retails from €37,395, plus delivery related charges, since July 1.

Powered by efficient petrol and diesel engines, customers have a choice between a 1.2 130hp 6-speed manual petrol (139g CO2 ), a 1.2 130hp 8-speed automatic petrol (145g CO2 ) and a 1.5 130hp 8-speed automatic diesel (135g CO2 ).

The new Grandland plug-in electric hybrid 225hp 2WD version will arrive later in 2022 (31g CO2 combined ), with a 300hp AWD version to follow.

The new model is available in three trims, the Grandland SC trim retails from €37,395 plus delivery. Standard equipment includes active emergency braking, cruise control with speed limiter, active lane keep assist, side blind spot alert, enhanced traffic sign recognition, driver attention alert, hill start assist with electronic parking brake, electronically controlled dual zone air conditioning, DAB radio, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, 7” touchscreen, Bluetooth audio streaming, front console USB, 230V plug in 2nd row, 17” alloy wheels, auto headlamps, front fogs, rain sensitive windscreen, front and rear parking sensors and rear view camera.

The sporty SRI trim retails from €40,195 plus delivery and boasts as standard over and above the SC trim AGR driver’s seat, electrically adjustable driver’s seat lumbar adjustment, adjustable driver seat cushion extension, half leather-effect seat trim, alloy sporty pedals (auto versions ), 10” touchscreen with satellite navigation, 12” multi-colour driver information cluster, USB connection in 2nd row, wireless charger, Black Pack (high gloss Opel logo and badging ), two tone black roof and black mirror caps, high gloss black roof rails, 18” alloy wheels and privacy tinted windows.

The top-of-the-range Elite trim retails from €41,995 and comes as standard with keyless entry and start, heated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, electrically adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, 19” alloy wheels and handsfree electric tailgate.
