Langan Consulting Engineers (LCE ) is a design consultancy specialising in the provision of Civil, Structural and Marine Engineering services. Founded in 2016, LCE is led by a team of Chartered Engineers with a range of experience in civil, structural and marine projects throughout Ireland and the UK over the past 20 years.

Mr James Langan and Mr Tim McHugh are the company directors, both are chartered members of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland, Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology.

"Our core aim is to provide high quality engineering design services to the renewable energy sector. This exciting sector has grown exponentially in recent years. LCE has developed strong working relationships with international clients on renewable energy projects recently. The projects LCE worked on were primarily located in the UK, and ranged from solar PV farms, onshore and offshore wind farms, battery storage facilities, and onshore electrical grid connections. LCE expect this industry will grow significantly in the West of Ireland in the coming years, as part of the EU’s commitment to the Green Agenda etc. We look forward to growing our company in this exciting time," says James.

Langan Consulting Engineers specialist design services are marine, flood risk and drainage services. James adds: "This industry is developing fast, with design standards rising continuously. The cornerstone of our business is continuous professional development. This enables us to adopt, utilise and deliver projects with the very latest engineering design practices. These standards have been attainable thanks to the state-of-the-art facilities at the Leeson Enterprise Centre.
