Man from Knock died on train
The man in his 30s who was found dead on the train from Dublin to Westport earlier this week has been named as Gary Heasman, 2 Drum Crescent, Knock and Dublin.
Mr Heasman’s funeral took place on Friday morning. Gardaí are not treating his death as suspicious.
Achill man died in building accident
Sixty-one-year-old Tom Cafferky, Lakeside, Dooniver, Achill lost his life on Wednesday after he fell from a roof in the Bunnacurry area of Achill.
Mr Cafferky will be laid to rest on Sunday.
