Croí Webinar highlights link between Women’s Heart Health and Menopause

Join Croí, the Heart and Stroke Charity, and leading experts for a public webinar, Living Well with Cardiovascular Disease: Women’s Heart Health and Menopause.

The free webinar takes place online via Zoom on Thursday, March 31, from 7pm to 8pm.

Croí stated: "The hormonal changes that occur during menopause can bring increased cardiovascular risk. Register now for this Croí webinar where the expert speakers will address your priorities and concerns for cardiovascular health and the menopause through an interactive panel discussion."

Expert speakers on the night include Dr Mary Ryan, Consultant Endocrinologist; Dr Eva Flynn, GP and Medical Educator; and Prof Catriona Jennings, Cardiovascular Specialist Research Nurse.

Dr Lisa Hynes, Croí’s Head of Health Programmes said: "While the menopause does not cause heart disease, it does increase the risk for developing conditions that are linked to heart disease. We’re delighted to be joined by an expert panel to bring attention to these risk factors and the link between the menopause and heart health."
