Two solicitors, Gina Mullen and Siobhán Durkan, have been appointed within the firm of P O’Connor & Son, bringing the number of partners to five, in addition to which it has a large team of paralegal, secretarial and executive support.
Gina and Siobhán join the existing partners, Patrick O’Connor, Samantha Geraghty and William O’Connor. The firm is now in its 122nd year of existence.
Gina Mullen specialises in residential conveyancing, banking law and security and probate. Following completion of her Diploma in legal studies with Griffith College in 2004, she was admitted to the Roll of Legal Executives in Ireland. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in April 2012.
Siobhán Durkan, a native of Lurga, Charlestown, graduated from UCD with a law degree and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland on March 18 2005. She is also admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales.
Siobhán relocated back to Mayo in 2017, having practised in Dublin for over 12 years specialising in commercial and residential property, banking law and security.
Prior to joining P. O’Connor & Son, Siobhán worked as an in-house solicitor with Bank of Ireland where she advised on all aspects of banking law, regulation and security.
