Crews working to restore water at Crossmolina Road, Ballina

Crews are on site on the Crossmolina Road out of Ballina this afternoon repairing a burst water main.

Irish Water and Mayo County Council are working to restore water supply as quickly as possible to approximately 200 homes in the Knockfree, Ardagh, Knockduff, Crossmolina Road and Carraghmore areas.

Customers can expect to experience water outages up to 9pm this evening. Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.

“We understand the inconvenience unplanned outages can have on customers and we appreciate your patience as we work to return the water supply to homes and businesses as quickly as possible.”
