Annual Turlough 8k Fun Run & Walk

This year the Turlough 8km race is going virtual and to top it off, they will be celebrating the event's 10th Anniversary. In years past, the race took place in Turlough village but since covid, they have had to change the approach. This has opened an opportunity for the organisers to undertake the event in a virtual capacity. They had hoped to run a hybrid event this year but due to certain restrictions still in place, they felt it best for the safety of everyone to go virtual again. The event will take place over the weekend of February 19/20. Go it alone or grab your crew. Make sure to tag them in any photos/videos over the weekend and use the hashtag #moveformayo to be entered into the raffle draw for some lovely prizes. Monies raised will go to supporting Parke-Keelogues-Crimlin GAA club in funding different community projects and mental health initiatives across Mayo. People can choose their own time as to when they want to undertake the run/walk over these two days from wherever they are located in the world. Registration is through the online platform Eventbrite - https://bit.ly/33NrCmG.
