An Garda Síochána has seized more than €12,500 worth of suspected cannabis herb following the search of a house in Westport, Co Mayo, under Operation Tara, on Tuesday November 30, 2021.
One man in his late 50s was arrested in connection with the seizure. He has since been released without charge, pending a file being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.The seizure forms part of Operation Tara - an enhanced national anti-drugs strategy.
