Peugeot Ireland power partners with AffinityEV

The ongoing shift towards electrified vehicles continues at rapid speed in the Irish market, bringing a major change within the automotive industry as car dealerships now have to satisfy customers’ needs for home charging units, information on grants, energy tariffs, installer recommendations and much more.

Because of this, Peugeot Ireland has partnered with AffinityEV to bring the world’s first electric vehicle energy and charging platform to the Peugeot dealer network and its customers.

This software will facilitate the consumer’s purchase of an approved home charger, installation of the charger by an approved engineer, analysis of the customers home and EV energy highlighting any potential cost savings, switch of energy provider (if required ) and application for the SEAI home charger grant.

Des Cannon, managing director at Gowan Distributors, Peugeot Importer in Ireland, said: “By partnering with AffinityEV, Peugeot dealerships can now offer their customers a simple and hassle-free way to arrange a full 360 EV Charging Solution.

“We are thrilled to be at the cutting edge of this automotive revolution by offering such a unique service through our dealer network.”

Raj Lyons Chohan, CEO of AffinityEV, commented: “Eventually every home in Ireland will have a home charging solution, we need to gear up for this change now and ensure that the process is as easy as possible.

“Peugeot Ireland customers can be assured that all their home charging needs will all be taken care of by their local Peugeot dealer using the AffinityEV platform.”
