Ballina based AI company expanding to create up to thirty new roles

Ballina-based TELUS International AI Data Solutions (formerly Lionbridge AI ), has commenced hiring for up to 30 new roles, following its acquisition late last year.

The company’s premises on Emmet Street are also undergoing significant upgrades, in addition to TELUS International AI Data Solutions replacing the previous Lionbridge AI branding. The company works with leading global clients using human intelligence to create and enhance the world’s data to enable better AI.

Lionbridge AI, based in Ballina for more than 20 years, was acquired in December 2020 by TELUS International, a digital customer experience (CX ) innovator that designs, builds and delivers next-gen solutions for global and disruptive brands. With over 56,000 team members worldwide, the company already has a major footprint in Ireland, in both Cork and Dublin.

TELUS International AI Data Solutions is one of only two globally scaled, managed training data and data annotation services and platform providers in the world and has seen consistent growth as the AI industry continues to proliferate.
