Balla No Name Club book launch

For many years Balla No Name Club has been one of the leading clubs in the country.

They have completed many worthwhile and winning projects as part of their work. Only recently, this progressive club launched a book about the oak tree project in Balla.

The book details the story of an old oak tree, and all the little animals that live in the wood and their struggles with living beside humans. The book was officially launched in Breaffy House Hotel Castlebar in association with the 20 centra food stores throughout Mayo.

All the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to The Patient Comfort Fund Oncology Department University Hospital Castlebar.

Balla no name club would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors for their generous contributions towards the publication: Monaghan Furniture Manufacturers - Balla, Breaffy House Hotel, Cllr Michael Kilcoyne, No Name Club Headquarters and MW Design Claremorris. The book named The Last Oak Tree by Brendan Conwell is a worthwhile read and is available in all Centra shops in Mayo.
