The magic of live music is back in Mayo with BAFTA-winning Achill islander Kevin Toolis' amazing Wonders of the Wake Show. Laughter, joy, poetry, song, the craic, in the best Wake you'll ever get to this side of Heaven!
The show will take place in Achill in Ted's Bar Marquee, Achill Island on Friday, September 3 and Saturday, September 4 at 8pm each evening.
Starring Freda Hatton, Julie Ní Longáin, Mags Gallen and Kevin Toolis in a night of thrilling wonder. Based on Kevin Toolis' New York Times bestselling book My Father's Wake, the Wonders of the Wake Show celebrates in laughter, joy, song, and haunting laments, the oldest rite of humanity, the Irish Wake.
