Photo comp

TOP just launched its call for entries to its annual photography competition and is urging all budding photographers from Mayo to pick up their camera and start snapping.

Any amateur photographer can enter the competition by submitting any photograph, of any subject, that they have taken in Ireland to [email protected]. Entrants stand the chance of not only being published in TOP’s 2010 calendar, but to also to win a fantastic prize. More information can be downloaded from www.top.ie Deadline is May 31.

Are you unemployed?

Westport Local Employment Service, Westport Family Resource Centre and South West Mayo Development Company invite you come along to a coffee morning on Thursday May 28 at 10am in The Cove Café to initiate an employment support network.

Newport table quiz

A fundraising table quiz will be held this Saturday May 22 at 9pm in the Grainne Uaile Bar, Newport, in aid of the local Newport Youth Cafe which is soon to be set up.

The last quiz was a great success; many thanks to every one who attended and we hope to see you again along with many new faces! Tables of four cost €20. Prizes and a fund raising raffle on the night.

Pregnancy yoga in Westport

A new six week series of pregnancy yoga will start on Wednesday May 20 from 6.30pm to 7.50pm at The Mill Times Hotel.

Camogie Fun Day

Girls from seven years upwards are invited to come and play camogie on De La Salle pitch on Tuesday May 19 from 7pm until 8.30pm. The evening will consist of fun games and skill development. All are welcome. For more information contact Bernie on 087 756 8642.
